Mauro Marion Bizzotto
Founder of InglesePerfetto
As a fully bilingual English and Italian speaker with over two decades of immersion in British culture, I bring a unique perspective to English language education. Born and raised in Bassano del Grappa, Italy—a picturesque town near Venice—I embarked on my international journey in 1997, when I relocated to London to pursue my passion for music.
This transition marked the beginning of my bicultural life, having spent the first half of my life in Italy and the second in the UK, where I've been based for over 20 years and counting.
Educational Background and Certifications
- Certified English Foreign Language Teacher
(CELTA, Cambridge University UK) - Certified Cambridge Speaking Examiner for B1 and B2 levels
- BMus (Hons) Jazz Performance 2012, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
- BMus (Hons) Popular Music 2007-2010, Goldsmiths College
- My musical journey has been recognized by the prestigious Berklee College of Music Faculty, receiving a $10,000 scholarship (2004) and an "Outstanding Musicianship" award (2008) at the Umbria Jazz Clinics, Italy.
Professional Experience and Teaching Philosophy
I have been teaching English foreign language to business professionals, military personnel, adults, young students and children since 2017.
I have worked in both the public and the private sectors in Italy and the UK.
I started my own English Foreign Language Laboratory, “InglesePerfetto,” in 2018, driven by my desire to act as an independent educator.
My goal is to help students maximize their potential for achievement in life—whether in academia, work, business, sports, or other areas.
Unbiased, effective reasoning and strong communication skills are at the core of my teaching philosophy. Most importantly, my lessons and activities are based on information applicable to real-life situations. Overall, I see my work as an opportunity to inspire, guide, encourage, build confidence, and promote self-esteem in children, teenagers, and adults.
Personal Journey and Interests
My international experience includes three years in New York (2000-2003), complementing my extensive time in London and Italy.
Beyond my primary roles as an educator and musician (drummer), I maintain active interests in neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and financial markets. I'm also passionate about physical activities including cycling, running, hiking, and swimming.
Currently, I divide my time between Italy and the UK, bringing my bicultural perspective and educational expertise to students in both countries.
